Talk: Nitrome Enjoyment System

OK, should we write this as though it exists, as though it doesn't exist or is a hoax/joke, or neutrally (i.e. "The Nitrome Enjoyment System is a console allegedly made by Nitrome Limited in 1984.")? I think neutrally or with a soft skeptic hold, and certainly not as though it were authentic. I'll stick around until this is resolved. Neutrally. I have found several pieces of proof that it doesn't exist. 1st off, in Super Treadmill, several consoles appear in the game. 2 of which are the Nintendo DS and Game Boy. Game Boy didn't come out until 1989 (1990 for North America. 1989 being its Japanese release), and the Nintendo DS didn't exist until being revealed in...2003. And the presence of Nitrome Characters in Super Treadmill (Skywire Cable Car, Double Deckered Bus, Square Meal Troll, Magenboy) also work against the NES's existence. --I'm Nobody (we mean the User) < He approves this message I like Lego + Brickshelf 13:03, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

Warning

Shouldn't we maybe add a warning sign on the pages related to the Nitrome Enjoyment System? Considering it was never actually 'released' and that none of things can really be bought. Because when I looked at the Controller page, i thought, "When did this EVER release?"

Well, I think there is no real need, as long as we stress that NES never existed. It's really a joke. NES never came out. Nitrome was just having fun, and the whole thing is fake. Not to say we shouldn't write about it (after all, Blue and Swindler don't exist in real life either), just that we should probably tell the reader that NES is not real. NTPYTO ^Gb_Sp^R4
