Where is this character called "the finch"? The trailer calls him the "green flavian finch", but since this article is just named "finch", I presume there is a place where the finch is just called "finch"/"the finch". --Talk to NOBODY  Eskimo 1 01:51, June 25, 2016 (UTC)

I don't understand the question...if the finch is called a "green flavian finch", then it's still a finch...just like how the finch is a "bird", so can still be called "bird" within the article. Are you implying that we should rename the article to "Green flavian finch" just because a trailer referred to the bird once as that? What happened to having concise titles?
I mean, if Nitrome took care to consistently call it as such and never just "finch", then maybe. Eh, I'd still not worry too much about it. The details would be better off left for the Appearance section.  Talk Random-storykeeper Contributions 11:16, June 25, 2016 (UTC)
I have to agree with RSK on this one. Just because "green flavian finch" was used to describe it once, doesn't mean that that was its official title. I think the name "Finch" works just fine. 36px-Jack_Frost_running.PNGEmitewiki2 36px-Purple_Frost_running.png 18:14, June 25, 2016 (UTC)
@RSK: My question was whether Nitrome referred to the bird anywhere as just "finch", as Megaphantaze added Template:Named to the current article's infobox, so I assumed Nitrome somewhere called the bird "finch". Yes, I was implying that, but only if Nitrome nowhere refers to the bird as just "finch". --Talk to NOBODY  Eskimo 1 18:30, June 25, 2016 (UTC)
Well not all character pages with mentioned names have the Named template, the articles TurnerProfessor, Girl and Boy for instance. If there really is no "official" set name for a character then shouldn't the simple answer be remove the template?
I've noticed that we tend to furiously search for any mentioning of the characters' names and then immedietly add the verified name template and add a reference just because we heard it straight from the horse's mouth. It seems that we care more about blatantly marking a name to show that it's official rather than marking a name, explainging that it's unofficial. --Talk to the FFT-2.pngFlyNMD 16:12, June 26, 2016 (UTC)
