This article is about slimes from Flightless. For slimes from other games, please see Slimes.

For the obstacle, see Slime (Flightless).

Slimes are a type of enemy in the game Flightless.

General appearance[]

Slimes typically have a gelatinous, spherical body consisting of one shade of color, an eye that rests loosely on its body and a mouth with two nubs in it (which resemble teeth).

Normal slimes[]

Normal slimes are enemies in the game Flightless.

Appearance[]

Normal slimes are red, gelatinous creatures that have an orange colored eye and a mouth with two nubs in it, that probably serve as teeth.

Game information[]

Slimes do not move, they instead squeeze their bodies downward, then spring themselves upward. When moving, they always try to move towards the nearest ducks. If they cannot at all get to the ducks, they will try to remain directly above them, or get as close to them as possible.

They are always respawned from a red gem no matter what level they are in. Slimes can be killed by shooting a ladder into them, sending them to the ceiling or the ground. Contact with the slimes from below or from the sides will send the duck to the last position from where they entered the room. Slimes can be killed by landing on their head, this killing them and giving the duck a short boost up.

Slimes can exert pressure on buttons, as shown in room 26. The number of slimes in a room is restricted by the number of red gems.

Magical slimes[]

Magical slimes are enemies in the game Flightless.

Appearance[]

Magical slimes have the same design as the normal slime, but are purple colored, and its eye is green. They appear to sparkle as they move around.

Game information[]

Magical slimes only appear in a secret room - room 23 - but it is possible they can make other appearances in the full version. Magical slimes have the same movement as the normal slime, but they have the added ability of destroying the duck's ladders. Whenever they hop, when they land they may spit a glob of goo at the duck. This glob will destroy the duck's ladder, and kill the duck if its hits them.

Despite having a different appearance, they act exactly like normal slimes, with the added ability of spitting goo.
