Ribbit is an action-platform game released on July 14, 2010. The player controls a half-frog half-rabbit creature seeking revenge against Dr.Siamese, who is responsible for merging these creatures together.
Spinning 180 degrees around so that the other head lands on the platform allows for a powered jump, useful for getting up on walls and destroying enemies.
In the game Ribbit the player must use momentum to use a power jump and to move through the level. Often objects must be bounced over and avoided and the player must carefully think how to move the character since certain objects will react to the rabbit or frog's head.
The game's name is based on the name of the half frog half rabbit main character Ribbit. Ribbit's name is a combination of the sound frogs make, ribbit, and rabbit.
Ribbit has been criticized for its frustrating controls and difficult learning curve [1]. Ribbit is also the second lowest rated Nitrome game on Jay is Games, Stumped being the lowest rated Nitrome game.
