Platform Panic's level design consists of phases that contain a selection of rooms that can be encountered during that phase, subsequent phases adding to this pool of rooms. Unlike other Nitrome endless games, the player does not have a random chance at encountering a different room in that phase when transitioning to another room, the room encountered must contain a door that is level with the door the player exits that room from.
The player starts each game in this room. It has an exit at the bottom right side.
This phase starts when the player has 1 point. Due to the exit of the starting room, the first encountered room of this phase is restricted to the rooms that have a bottom left entrance.
After this, the regular rooms of this phase are encountered.
