This article is about robots from Toxic series. For robots from other games, please see Robots. |
Hovering robots are enemies that appear in the Toxic series.
Appearance[]
Hovering robots appear as two plates with a pair of red eyes between them. Above the upper plate is a pill like structure sticking up. Attached to it are a metal bolt like object and a few pipes, all pointing up.
While moving, air is blown out of these pipes and the bolt rotates. They seem to be the primitive of all the robots in the Toxic series, as their inner parts (upper pipes) are exposed.
Game information[]
Hovering robots do not have an attack. They just hover around an area, having a set path. They are one of the few enemies which move around in the air. Because of their movement in the air, they are somewhat difficult to kill. They move slower than most robots.
Other appearances[]
- Off the Rails - A hovering robot makes a cameo behind a "No Entry" sign on some levels
- Nitrome.com 1.5 - A hovering robot appears on a box Nitrome provided for fans to place on other sites
Trivia[]
- The keep out sign is probably humorously hinting that the first robot factory is located somewhere out in the desert.
