A list of platforms in Snow Drift.

Melting platforms[]

Melting platforms sit in midair, and often the yeti must use them to get to the next part of the level. Once he steps on one, it disappears in about one second, so he must quickly jump to the next one. Neither snowballs nor enemies will melt the platform, only the yeti can melt them.

Seesaw platforms[]

When the yeti lands on a seesaw platform, it will tilt heavily to whichever side he is on. Emperor penguins may sometimes be on the seesaw platform, but never the mini penguins.

Rotating blocks[]

Rotating blocks will rotate in midair. Some do only a quarter-turn, then reverse and another, and some are just continually rotating in circles in one direction. They are fairly easy to maneuver on, and in some parts in Snow Drift, the yeti will have to jump from rotating block to rotating block.

Spiked blocks[]

Spiked blocks are blocks with spikes on them. They move vertically in a positioned hole on the track or at a spot directly above the track. The yeti must tell at what time to jump over it. They hurt him one health point. In some parts of Snow Drift, the yeti may have to make a tight squeeze between spiked blocks.

Moving blocks[]

There are two types of moving blocks: moving ice blocks and moving snow blocks. Moving blocks are basically blocks that move in midair. Some move horizontally, while others move vertically (however, none can move both ways). They will continue to move in a set pattern infinitely. They usually provide an area for enemies, such as emperor penguins or foxes, to stand on. They can also transport the yeti to otherwise unreachable places; the yeti can also slide on moving ice blocks to kill enemies.
