Development[]
Gunbrick was being worked on around April 1st, 2012[1] and was released on April 20th[2]. The game was an experimental project for Nitrome and the 50x50 pixel restriction (the dimensions of the icons of Nitrome's website) put limitations on the gameplay elements in the game[2].
Trivia[]
- Gunbrick is Nitrome's first game that can be played within the icon.
- The music of Gunbrick has a resemblance of the music of Canary and Rainbogeddon.
- This is the first Nitrome game with no high scores leaderboard.
