Chains are interactive objects in the game Ice Breaker: The Gathering and Ice Breaker: The Red Clan. They do not appear in the original game, Ice Breaker. It is unknown whether or not they will appear in Ice Breaker: A Viking Voyage.

Appearance

Chains are silver, with two pegs on each side of the chain. The links that make up the chain are square, with a horizontal line connecting them.

Game information

Chains first appear in a level of Ice Breaker: The Red Clan. They cannot be cut, and cannot be cut across. They also cannot be grabbed by hand rocks or moved by rails. They are not solid, so if given the opportunity, a Viking will fall through them, possibly to his death or to the longboat. They act like a stronger version of ropes, and hold ice and rock together like ropes.

• Chains are very similar to the chains fired from Dirk Valentine's chain cannon.
