The panther[1] is the final boss in Skywire 2. It is a giant head of a robotic panther that follows the cable car up and down the cable tracks.

Appearance[]

The panther is a black robot whose entire body consists of a head with a spinning crank-like tail at the bottom. It has red gums and large yellow teeth, two large canines stick out from on the top jaw.

Game information[]

The panther will constantly open and close its mouth, retracting a tooth before closing. This allows the cable car to move into the space created by the retracted tooth. After opening it mouth again, the retracted tooth will extend back in as the one next tooth retracts. The player has to move into the created spaces until they a given a chance to reach the end of the level.

Throughout the battle, the panther will always follow the player on the vertical plane, keeping the cable car in its mouth. It will stop following them when the player reaches the final stretch that leads to the finish booth.

Trivia[]

  • The panther functions similarly to the mouth monsters from the Hot Air series.
  • The panther's tail keeps spinning even when the game is paused.
