Cosmic Cannon is a mini game released on May 17, 2009. The goal is to keep a ball in the air for as long as possible by shooting other balls to support it.

The player has to shoot a number ball as many times as they can. Every time two balls hit each other, the number in the middle of the balls will increase by one. When a the number on a ball is the highest that that player has gotten, the player's "best ever" score (located on the side of the screen) will change to that number. Balls with cameos of the faces of other Nitrome characters may appear, but they don't towards the player's score when they hit other balls.

- Some characters make a cameo as a ball like: Hot Air's head, Black Ball from Twang, the green angry head from Knuckleheads, a chick from Chick Flick, and the moon from Cheese Dreams.
- This is a spin-off game of the Cheese Dreams series.
- Since being a spin-off, this game has lots of elements seen in Cheese Dreams, such as the cannon, the game's location, the music and art being the same.
- This game currently is the only Nitrome game to be released on Sunday.[1]
