Cheats n' Treats allows special things to happen in the game Twin Shot 2. It used to cost one thousand MochiCoins to purchase. As of February 7th, 2013, however, they were made free for everyone to access. On the menu there are two sections: Special modes, which can all be checked, and power-up toggle, where only one can be selected per player. Note that the player cannot post on their high scores with Cheats n' Treats in use.
When Twin Shot 2 was updated, cheat and treats became free. However, in order to unlock a cheat, the player has to collect coins or gems in the game, and will unlock a cheat once they have the sufficient enough of coins for that cheat.
Please note that the "coins" section of the below tables lists how many of the in game collectable coins have to be collected to unlock the desired cheat, and not the required MochiCoins.
The modes let the players compete in different ways, both involving one shooting the other to win.
The regular multiplayer mode, as seen without buying cheats. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
This is the regular game where the player with the most points wins the round.
A multiplayer mode where the player with the crown at the end of the level is the winner. The player gets the crown by shooting the other player, and when the other player shoots back, the first loses the crown.
If you shoot (tag) the other player you get a crown! The player with the crown at the end of the round wins.
A multiplayer mode where the players can kill each other. When one player shoots the other, a red bat begins to fly over his head. When the round is over, the player with the most bats wins.
Hit the other player to get a bat. At the end of the round, the surviving player with the most bats wins.
This lets the player permanently have and effect the rarity of power-ups. There is also three special items exclusive to Cheats n' Treats:
Makes the player invincible for a short time; if turned permanently on, will make the player invincible continuously until turned off
Gives the player the ability to fly
Make the player move faster
Causes the two players' positions to swap. The effects of this are unknown in three or four player mode.
Infectious arrows that will kill any enemy in one shot, regardless of health.
Arrows that travel faster and farther than other arrows, and also can go through enemies, meaning that two or more enemies can be killed in one shot.
Arrows that can kill multiple enemies when they hit a surface. These arrows can also destroy certain walls, causing bits of the wall to go away, and coins to fall out. This arrow can also kill the player when it detonates, if the player is not careful.
Can be used to increase the size of the player. The player cannot jump as high when large.
Can be used to decrease the size of the player. The player can jump twice as high as a regular sized angel, and four times as high as a large one.
Random level mode
In random level mode, the player can access good levels, evil levels, original levels, and occasionally secret extra levels. Over eight secret levels are known.
A trailer for the Cheats N' Treats of Twin Shot 2 was released on Nitrome's old YouTube channel on July 16, 2009.
A glitch exists in the game Twin Shot 2 that can only be access while using level skip. If the player beats a level, and presses level skip without clicking "Next Level," the screen will not appear normal and the letters will be overlapped.
