This article is about robots from Toxic series. For robots from other games, please see Robots.

Charging robots are enemies in the game Toxic II. They do not appear in the prequel, Toxic.

Appearance[]

Charging robots have a head with a very slight curve at the top. Close to the left side of the metal is a piece of metal that extends down, this part holding the creature's pink eye.

Behind that piece of metal are some smaller metal parts, attached to one of them a small rod that goes down and attaches to the body of the robot.

The robot's body looks like a metal coffee cup, with the handle visible behind it. Going down from that is a longer metal rod, which attaches to a wheel. The robot is somehow capable of standing up even though it has a single wheel.

Game information[]

Charging robots appear in a secret level and in normal level eleven of Toxic II. These enemies stay on one edge of the platform, and when the Hazmat Hero gets close to one or drops a bomb, it will immediately charge back and fourth on the platform. They are very hard to avoid, and unless the Hazmat Hero jumps to another platform, he will be injured one to two times, losing one-fourth of his health each time.

They can be hard to destroy depending on the platform the Hazmat Hero is on. The smaller a platform is, the easier the robot is to kill. They are difficult to kill due to their speed, and likeliness to be far away from the bomb when it explodes. Once caught in the explosion of a bomb, they explode and die.

Trivia[]

  • The robot's ability to stand up with a single wheel possibly indicates that a gyroscope is implanted within the robot's body.
