February

  • February 2nd - Nitrome announces that Ultimate Briefcase will be released during the current week (January 31st - February 6th).
  • February 4th - Ultimate Briefcase is released.
  • February 6th - Stretch Dungeon is revealed.
  • February 9th - Nitrome on Twitter posts a preview of one of the levels from Rust Bucket Update 2.
  • February 11th - Nitrome on Twitter reveals a preview image of Project Jump and that the game will be called Leap Day.
  • February 12th - Nitrome on Twitter posts a video preview of Stretch Dungeon.
  • February 20th - Mat Annal on Twitter shares two preview screenshots of Leap Day.
  • February 22nd - Mat Annal shares on Twitter a mock-up image of the Waterfall background in Leap Day.

  • April 3rd - Nitrome posts on Twitter three previews of Leap Day: a level that had Mud Monsters, a level that had a piece of scenery that showed two characters watching the game's protagonist on a television, and a level that had an egg.
  • April 5th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a level of Leap Day that has a selection of scenery that shows two characters inside a house watching the game's protagonist on a television.
  • April 21st - Nitrome posts on Twitter that Leap Day has been submitted to the Apple App Store and Google Play and also posts an image of an king-like character on his throne pulling a lever.
  • April 22nd - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of the gold trophy goal for one level of Leap Day and on Youtube a video of the generated Leap Day level for April 20th, 2016.

May

  • May 4th - Nitrome posts that Leap Day will be released on May 11th and also posted a trailer of the game on Youtube.
  • May 7th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of the day select screen of Leap Day and highlighted how it displays achievements gained on each day.
  • May 8th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of Leap Day that shows the Gold Cup at the end of a level that has a Fruit Crown.
  • May 11th - Nitrome posts on the Nitrome blog, Facebook, and Twitter that Leap Day has been released.
  • May 19th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of unlockable characters that will be added in Leap Day Update 1.

  • June 16th - Nitrome posts that they are working on Leap Day Update 2 and mentions the new content it would introduce.
  • June 19th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of Leap Day showing an in-game Selfie cam image of a level that has the Totem background.

July

  • July 1st - Nitrome posts on Twitter that Leap Day Update 2 will be released the following Monday (July 4th, 2016). Nitrome also posts on Twitter a video preview of Stretch Dungeon.
  • July 4th - Nitrome posts on Twitter that Leap Day Update 2 has been released.
  • July 5th - Mat Annal posts on Twitter an image of art that will be used in the Beach background in Update 3.
  • July 7th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of Leap Day that shows Kepi in an End Zone.
  • July 8th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a preview image of Leap Day that shows Meep in an End Zone, the same one as on July 7th, 2016.
  • July 13th - Nitrome posts on Twitter that Leap Day Update 3 will be released the following day and also posts a short video of the July 14th, 2016, End Zone.
  • July 14th - Leap Day Update 3 is released.
  • July 15th - Nitrome posts on Twitter an image of Leap Day hazards that they were working on implementing into the game.
  • July 22nd - Mat Annal posts on Twitter an image of the electricity background he is working on for Leap Day.

August

  • August 6th - Nitrome posts that the Apple App Store has featured Vault! as part of their Olympics 2016 feature.
  • August 19th - Nitrome posts on Twitter a video of a new trap that will appear in Update 4.
  • August 23rd - Nitrome announces Magic Mansion by Folmer Kelly and that it will be their next published game.
  • August 31st - Nitrome posts that Leap Day Update 4 will be released the following day and posts a trailer for the update.

September

  • September 1st - Leap Day Update 4 is released.
  • September 5th - Nitrome posts on Twitter that Stretch Dungeon will be released during the week.
  • September 7th - Stretch Dungeon is released[2].
  • September 12th - Leap Day Update 5 is released.
  • September 14th - Nitrome released the Leap Day stickers update, an Apple App Store exclusive update. Also, an update for Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire was released that fixed one glitch.

November

  • November 17th - Jon Annal posts on Twitter that Stretch Dungeon and Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire were featured on the Apple App Store in the "Our Favourite Action Games" and "Our Favourite Indie Games" categories, respectively.
  • November 23rd - Hop Swap is released on Google Play[3].
  • November 24th - Hop Swap is released on the Apple App Store[4] and Nitrome posts on Twitter that Hop Swap has been released on there and Google Play.

December

  • December 7th, 2016 - Nitrome posts on Twitter that Leap Day has been featured on the Apple App Store in the section "10 Best Games of the Year" and that Hop Swap has been featured on the front page.
  • December 16th, 2016 - Nitrome posts on Youtube the trailer for Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert and that the game will be released on December 22nd.
  • December 22nd, 2016 - Nitrome posts on Twitter that the Leap Day Winter Update has been released, posts the update's trailer on Youtube, and that Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert has been released.
