A list of events in 2009 related to Nitrome.

JanuaryEdit

January 5 - Ice Breaker is released.
January 7 - Pixel Pop is released.
January 10 - Nitrome is nominated for in several categories for the Jay is Games Best of 2008 game vote.
January 21 - Flashcat is released.

February 6 - Nitrome wins a couple of awards for there games. Final Ninja wins a award in the Platform Category. Skywire 2, Onekey, and Mutiny get some audience awards.
February 6 - Twin Shot is released.
February 13 - Mirror Image is released.

March 4 - The Glassworks is released.
March 5 - A blurry preview image for Ice Breaker: The Red Clan is released. Hot Air Balloon Maker is also taken down on March 5 due to excessive amounts of balloons.
March 12 - Nitrome is nominated in 2 categories in the Mochis. Final Ninja gets nominated in the "Best Commercial Game" Category. While Skywire 2 has been nominated in the "Best Family Game" Category.
March 12 - Another preview image for Ice Breaker: The Red Clan is released.
March 18 - Ice Breaker: The Red Clan is released.
March 30 - Nitrome announces that they won a Mochi last week because of best family game - Skywire 2.

July 3 - Nitrome announces that they are working on Twin Shot 2 - Good & Evil, and release a screenshot.
July 13 - Parasite is released.
July 14 - Nitrome announces that Twin Shot 2 will have MochiCoins, and release another Screenshot from the Evil Levels of Twin Shot 2.
July 15 - Nitrome announces that Twin Shot 2 will be there first game to have Cheats n' Treats, and they show a screenshot of one of the Cheats in action.
July 16 - Nitrome puts three links to Twin Shot 2 Trailers on Youtube.
July 20 - Twin Shot 2 - Good & Evil is released.
July 24 - Nitrome launches five Free Player Skins with the creation of a MochiCoins account.

August 5 - Nitrome launches the new Vote section in there blog, starting with the poll "What new feature would you most like to see on nitrome?".
August 20 - Rockitty is released.

Unknown date - Sucknblo was started (later to be cancelled).
October 7 - Cave Chaos is released. The "What new feature would you most like to see on nitrome?" poll closes, and Level Editors was a clear winner with nearly 40% of the votes. And nitrome takes the votes on board, and is looking at introducing a level editor to one of their games sometime over the next few months.
October 16 - Nitrome's Halloween game Graveyard Shift is released.

November 5 - B.C. Bow Contest is released, and a video with a sneak peak of the Fire Cup is also released.
November 24 - The Fire Cup is released.

December 4 - Cold Storage is released.
December 11 - The Snowman Skin is released.
December 11 - Nitrome announces that there are working on a upcoming Ice Breaker game, and that the upcoming game will feature new clans, and new elements.
December 14 - Ice Breaker: The Gathering is released, starting with the Elder Clan.
December 21 - The First Clan are released as the second Playable Clan in Ice Breaker: The Gathering.
December 22 - Avalanche is released.
December 28 - The Raven Clan is released as the third playable clan.
December 31 - Nitrome announces that they are on Facebook.
